Ellos compartieron an\u00e9cdotas personales alrededor del Nobel.<\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/stories\/11\/02\/250211\/vargas_llosa_union_europea.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Uni\u00f3n Europea realiz\u00f3 reconocimiento especial a Mario Vargas Llosa en Lima\" title=\"Uni\u00f3n Europea realiz\u00f3 reconocimiento especial a Mario Vargas Llosa en Lima\" \/><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">Nuestro escritor record\u00f3 los detalles que m\u00e1s le sorprendieron de la sociedad sueca. Por ejemplo, el colegio intercultural de migrantes que visit\u00f3 all\u00e1, \u00abdonde hablan 18 idiomas personas de 100 pa\u00edses: una unidad de etnias, tradiciones, culturas y religiones\u00bb, afirm\u00f3.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">Destac\u00f3 del pa\u00eds escandinavo su \u00abesfuerzo extraordinario en muchos campos, sobre todo en derechos humanos\u00bb. Record\u00f3 que \u00abSuecia nunca ha sufrido golpes de Estado ni revoluciones, sino cambios graduales. No tiene traumas hist\u00f3ricos\u00bb.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">Vargas Llosa tuvo palabras de elogio para la Uni\u00f3n Europea, instituci\u00f3n a la que consider\u00f3 \u00abprofundamente democr\u00e1tica\u00bb, pues tiene \u00absetenta a\u00f1os sin guerras, con pa\u00edses que se han desangrado entre ellos que se van integrando r\u00e1pidamente. Son sociedades que se hacen cosmopolitas sin perder sus identidades nacionales\u00bb.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">Si todo el ajetreo en la apretada agenda del escritor luego de recibir el Nobel fue calificado de \u00abtorbellino\u00bb, tambi\u00e9n podr\u00eda aplicarse esto a la delegaci\u00f3n peruana.\u00a0<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">El ministro Ossio record\u00f3 las decenas de llamadas telef\u00f3nicas que debi\u00f3 atender el d\u00eda que se conoci\u00f3 el premio Nobel a Vargas Llosa. Tambi\u00e9n el problema de la huelga de aviones en el Viejo Continente, por lo cual \u00e9l pudo llegar a Estocolmo, pero sus maletas no.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">Por otra parte, De Szyszlo cont\u00f3 una an\u00e9cdota que revela la honestidad sueca, pues perdi\u00f3 su dinero y tarjetas de cr\u00e9dito en un frac alquilado en Estocolmo, lo cual fue devuelto intacto v\u00eda la c\u00f3nsul peruana en el pa\u00eds escandinavo. \u00abSolo en Suecia ocurre algo as\u00ed\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">Beatriz Merino record\u00f3 que fue ella quien entreg\u00f3 banderas peruanas en Estocolmo en los alrededores de la Academia Sueca, donde se realizaban las actividades por el premio, \u00abentreg\u00e1ndolas incluso a japoneses o finlandeses, en algo que nunca se hab\u00eda visto por all\u00e1\u00bb.\u00a0<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">Adem\u00e1s, Merino celebr\u00f3 el triunfo de Vargas Llosa, que \u00abes de todos los peruanos, las amas de casa, los ejecutivos y las abogadas\u00bb, refiri\u00e9ndose a s\u00ed misma.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">El embajador de la Uni\u00f3n Europea en Per\u00fa, Hans Alld\u00e9n, le entreg\u00f3 a Vargas Llosa un mensaje enviado por la Comisaria Europea de Educaci\u00f3n, Cultura, Multiling\u00fcismo y Juventud, Androulla Vassiliou.\u00a0<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">En \u00e9ste se recalc\u00f3 que el reconocimiento otorgado por la UE tiene el fin de destacar sus logros en la literatura, pero tambi\u00e9n su papel como defensor de los derechos humanos y de los principios democr\u00e1ticos.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">Luego de recordar el hinchaje de Vargas Llosa por Universitario de Deportes, Beatriz Merino entreg\u00f3 al escritor un bander\u00edn del club victoriano, \u00abpara que se sienta identificada la otra mitad del pa\u00eds\u00bb.
