inform\u00f3 hoy que ha realizado un pedido r\u00e9cord de 150 aviones de la categor\u00eda 737 MAX al constructor aeron\u00e1utico Boeing, por los que pagar\u00e1 unos 19.000 millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ambas firmas subrayaron hoy, mediante un comunicado de prensa, que ese es \u00abel mayor pedido de la historia de Boeing tanto en t\u00e9rminos del valor econ\u00f3mico (unos 19.000 millones de d\u00f3lares, seg\u00fan precios de cat\u00e1logo) como en n\u00famero de aviones\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Con esa adquisici\u00f3n Southwest modernizar\u00e1 su flota, que estar\u00e1 compuesta en su totalidad por aviones construidos por Boeing y que tambi\u00e9n ser\u00e1 la mayor del mundo de la categor\u00eda 737, caracterizados por su eficiencia en el consumo de combustible.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Southwest, con sede en Dallas (Texas), es el primer cliente en firmar un pedido del 737 MAX, y en \u00e9l tambi\u00e9n se incluyen 58 aeronaves 737 Next-Generation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La aerol\u00ednea recibir\u00e1 el primer avi\u00f3n de este modelo cuando entre en servicio en 2017, indicaron ambas compa\u00f1\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abSouthwest es un cliente especial para Boeing y un aut\u00e9ntico socio en la evoluci\u00f3n del 737,\u00bb dijo el presidente y consejero delegado de Boeing, Jim Albaugh, que record\u00f3 las m\u00e1s de cuatro d\u00e9cadas de operaciones comerciales entre ambos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El 737 MAX es una nueva versi\u00f3n remotorizada del avi\u00f3n de pasillo \u00fanico m\u00e1s vendido del mundo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seg\u00fan el fabricante aeron\u00e1utico con sede en Seattle (Washington), los nuevos motores LEAP-1B reducir\u00e1n el consumo de combustible y las emisiones de CO2 entre el 10 y 12 % respecto del m\u00e1s eficiente de los aviones de pasillo \u00fanico actuales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Boeing explic\u00f3 que ese aparato \u00abtendr\u00e1 los menores gastos operativos de todos los aviones de este segmento, inferiores a los de sus rivales futuros en el 7 %\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abEl entorno actual exige mayor rendimiento en combustible y mayor respeto para el medio ambiente\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3 por su parte el presidente y consejero delegado de Southwest, Gary Kelly, quien consider\u00f3 que con esta adquisici\u00f3n consiguen ambos objetivos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kelly se\u00f1al\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n que con esta operaci\u00f3n, la aerol\u00ednea que dirige \u00abmantendr\u00e1 su posici\u00f3n como l\u00ednea a\u00e9rea de bajo coste en los a\u00f1os venideros\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Con este pedido de Southwest, Boeing cuenta con compromisos de compra de m\u00e1s de 900 aviones 737 MAX por parte de 13 clientes, y ha recibido m\u00e1s de 6.600 pedidos de la familia 737 Next-Generation, de los que m\u00e1s de 3.800 se han entregado ya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En las operaciones electr\u00f3nicas previas a la apertura de la Bolsa de Nueva York, las acciones de Boeing ganaron el 1,14 % hasta 71,71 d\u00f3lares cada una, mientras que en lo que va de a\u00f1o se han revalorizado el 8,64 % y el 10,5 % en los \u00faltimos doce meses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los t\u00edtulos de Southwest, por su parte, ganaron el 0,36 % hasta 8,46
