Esto corresponde un esfuerzo conjunto de Merrell y Per\u00fa 8mil para seguir reforzando el concepto de \u201ccarreras de aventura\u201d en el Per\u00fa.<\/p>\n<p>Una competencia de tipo \u201ccross country\u201d es un deporte donde los participantes corren\u00a0 en contacto con la naturaleza y fuera de los entornos de la ciudad, es decir, en circuitos\u00a0 de terreno natural como desiertos, orillas del mar, cerros, entre otros. A diferencia de una marat\u00f3n tradicional no se corre por terrenos totalmente asfaltados.<\/p>\n<p>En esta oportunidad el VII Merrell Challenge Asia 2012 se llevar\u00e1 a cabo en los desiertos de Asia con un recorrido de 12 kil\u00f3metros que incluye atravesar las interesantes dunas de la zona.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEs la primera vez que un Merrell Challenge en Per\u00fa ofrece a sus competidores cruzar interesantes dunas. Esto aporta un atractivo reto, no s\u00f3lo por la belleza de su paisaje sino por la complejidad de correr en ellas. El calor del desierto tambi\u00e9n es un desaf\u00edo adicional\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Ernesto M\u00e1laga, representante del equipo Merrell.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>La concentraci\u00f3n para los competidores est\u00e1 programada para las 8:30 am del domingo 04 de marzo en la loza deportiva del malec\u00f3n de Asia (pueblo). La partida ser\u00e1 a las 10:00 am. <\/p>\n<p>Los interesados pueden inscribirse hasta el viernes 2 de marzo a trav\u00e9s de la web www.peru8mil.com, donde tambi\u00e9n encontrar\u00e1n la ruta de la carrera.<\/p>\n<p>La entrega de kits se realizar\u00e1 los d\u00edas jueves 1 y viernes 2 de marzo de 4 a 8pm en la tienda Merrell del Jockey Plaza.
