Venezuela decidi\u00f3 en abril retirar a su embajador en Per\u00fa luego de que el Gobierno de Lima le informara que hab\u00eda otorgado asilo a Rosales, quien alega ser un perseguido pol\u00edtico del mandatario izquierdista Ch\u00e1vez.<\/p>\n<p>El presidente Garc\u00eda es un ferviente promotor del libre mercado y ha criticado fuertemente algunas pol\u00edticas de izquierda en la regi\u00f3n, muchas de ellas promovidas por Ch\u00e1vez.
