El suizo Roger Federer, n\u00famero uno del mundo, le gan\u00f3 ayer al serbio Novak Djokovic, cuarto en el escalaf\u00f3n mundial, por 6-1 y 7-5 y se qued\u00f3 con el Masters 1000 de Cincinatti.\u00a0De esta manera, Federer demostr\u00f3 que est\u00e1 en \u00f3ptimas condiciones para defender el t\u00edtulo en el abierto de los Estados Unidos, \u00faltimo Grand Slam de la temporada, que se iniciar\u00e1 el pr\u00f3ximo lunes 31 de agosto.<\/p>\n
El suizo hab\u00eda vuelto al circuito la semana pasada en Montreal tras ser pap\u00e1 de dos mellizas y perdi\u00f3 en cuartos de final con el franc\u00e9s Wilfried Tsonga. Federer hab\u00eda mostrado un gran juego en Canad\u00e1 y volvi\u00f3 a exhibir el mismo en Cincinnati, donde ayer dej\u00f3 en el camino en las semifinales al escoc\u00e9s Andy Murray, n\u00famero dos del mundo, justamente el vencedor en Montreal.<\/p>\n

En tanto, Djokovic ven\u00eda de derrotar en una de las semifinales al espa\u00f1ol Rafael Nadal, tercero en el ranking mundial. En el primer set, el partido fue ampliamente favorable a Federer pero en el comienzo del segundo parcial, el serbio le quebr\u00f3 el servicio al suizo en el segundo juego y logr\u00f3 adelantarse 3-0 tras conservar su saque.<\/p>\n
Sin embargo, Federer se pudo recuperar, emparej\u00f3 el encuentro y consigui\u00f3 el quiebre fundamental en el und\u00e9cimo game cuando le \u2018rompi\u00f3\u2019 el saque al serbio y se coloc\u00f3 6-5.<\/p>\n
