El ex presidente del Per\u00fa, Alejandro Toledo, dijo anoche que respaldaba totalmente la pol\u00edtica exterior que lleva a cabo el actual mandatario, Al\u00e1n Garc\u00eda P\u00e9rez, pero se mostr\u00f3 contrario a que este \u201cpise el palito\u201d frente a las provocaciones que a menudo protagoniza el Jefe de Estado de Bolivia, Evo Morales, del cual manifest\u00f3 ser amigo pero que discrepaba de su peculiar estilo agresivo.<\/p>\n

Toledo, quien anoche prest\u00f3 declaraciones desde Washington mediante un enlace telef\u00f3nico con el programa \u201cPrensa Libre\u201d del canal 4, no dud\u00f3 en calificar como \u201cinoportuna y poco atinada\u201d las palabras del presidente Garc\u00eda al manifestar que aparentemente exist\u00eda un arreglo bajo la mesa entre Chile y Bolivia, comentando que los mandatarios deben emplear canales institucionales y no personales cuando tocan temas de pol\u00edtica exterior.<\/p>\n

Dijo tambi\u00e9n que esperaba que este sonado caso no sirva como \u201cuna cortina de humo\u201d para apartar la atenci\u00f3n p\u00fablica sobre los sangrientos episodios de Bagua, donde hubieron sensibles p\u00e9rdidas humanas o sobre los llamados \u201cpetroaudios\u201d cuyo esc\u00e1ndalo a\u00fan no se ha investigado completamente.<\/p>\n

Finalmente expres\u00f3 su preocupaci\u00f3n porque la importante cita de los pa\u00edses que conforman la Uni\u00f3n de Naciones Sudamericanas (UNASUR), que est\u00e1 programada para el pr\u00f3ximo Viernes, sirva para esclarecer varios temas que son de palpitante inter\u00e9s para toda la regi\u00f3n y que no muestre \u201cfisuras\u201d y que m\u00e1s bien sea tomada como una buena oportunidad para dar tranquilidad a nuestros pa\u00edses.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
