Daniel Acquah, Director de Seguridad en la GCAA, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que est\u00e1 coordinando con el fabricante de la aeronave y la aerol\u00ednea para revelar la causa del incidente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seg\u00fan testigos del incidente ocurrido el fin de semana pasado, uno de los cuatro motores del BAe 146-200 se incendi\u00f3, lo que motiv\u00f3 a que el piloto regresara al Aeropuerto Internacional de Kotoka y no siguiera la ruta del vuelo S9100, hacia el Aeropuerto de Kumasi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.citifmonline.com\/2014\/08\/11\/starbow-denies-aircraft-catching-fire-in-air\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Un comunicado de la aerol\u00ednea Starbow<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/a> Airlines se\u00f1ala que el problema fue detectado cuando la aeronave super\u00f3 los 910 metros de altura, aunque neg\u00f3 que se tratara de un aterrizaje de emergencia. Seg\u00fan el documento, el capit\u00e1n decidi\u00f3 regresar al Aeropuerto Internacional de Kotoka porque all\u00ed se encuentra la base de operaciones de mantenimiento. Sin embargo, neg\u00f3 que hubiese fuego en el motor de la nave.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se desconoce la cantidad de pasajeros a bordo.
