El actor Patrick Swayze, protagonista de pel\u00edculas como Dirty Dancing (1987) y Ghost (1990), falleci\u00f3 tras casi dos a\u00f1os de lucha contra el c\u00e1ncer de p\u00e1ncreas, inform\u00f3 el peri\u00f3dico estadounidense Los Angeles Times. El actor de 57 a\u00f1os sigui\u00f3 trabajando durante el transcurso de su enfermedad y nunca se dio por vencido, a pesar de las noticias publicadas por los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n de todo el mundo, que llegaron a vaticinar su muerte en diversas ocasiones.<\/p>\n

Bailar\u00edn profesional desde muy joven, Patrick Wayne Swayze comenz\u00f3 su carrera en el mundo del espect\u00e1culo en el teatro, donde particip\u00f3 en musicales como Grease.\u00a0 Su primera oportunidad en el cine lleg\u00f3 cuando fue incluido en la pel\u00edcula Rebeldes (1983). Entre 1987 y 1990 se convirti\u00f3 en una estrella con el musical Dirty Dancing y con la pel\u00edcula Ghost, en la cual interpret\u00f3 a un joven trabajador de un banco que, tras ser asesinado, regresa como fantasma para despedirse de su novia y castigar a sus asesinos. <\/p>\n
